Valve Releases Conclusion of Team Fortress 2 Comic

Author:Kristen Update:Jan 25,2025

A long-awaited Christmas miracle has arrived for Team Fortress 2 fans! Valve has unexpectedly released a new comic for the popular team-based shooter. The announcement appeared on the game's official website.

Entitled "The Days Have Worn Away," this is the seventh numbered comic and the 29th overall, including special event and themed releases. The last TF2 comic was released in 2017, marking a seven-year gap.

Valve playfully acknowledged the lengthy wait, likening the comic's creation to the construction of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They humorously pointed out that unlike the Tower's builders, TF2 players only had to wait "a mere" seven years.

This new comic offers a satisfying conclusion to the storyline, and there's strong indication that it will be the final installment. Erik Wolpaw's tweet on X, mentioning "the very last meeting for the Team Fortress 2 comic," strongly suggests this. Nevertheless, players can now enjoy a satisfying conclusion to the narrative and a festive dose of Christmas cheer.
