The in-game store was already closed on June 26th, 2024, ending the possibility of further in-app purchases.

The reasons behind the closure remain somewhat unclear. While the developers hinted at a potential shortage of characters to adapt from the extensive King of Fighters franchise, this is likely only part of the story.
