Second Life Mobile\'s hotly anticipated public beta is now live!

Second Life, the popular MMO, launches its public beta on iOS and Android! Premium subscribers can access it now; free access details are yet to be announced.

Download Second Life from the App Store and Google Play. However, a Premium account is currently required for access. This beta release marks a significant step towards wider mobile availability and should accelerate the flow of information about the mobile version.

For those unfamiliar, Second Life is a pioneering social MMO, a precursor to the metaverse concept. It emphasizes social interaction over combat or exploration, allowing players to create and live out their chosen personas in a virtual world. Originally launched in 2003, it popularized concepts like social gaming and user-generated content.
