Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 8: A Deep Dive into New Content

Hearthstone's Season 8 has arrived, bringing exciting updates to Battlegrounds. This includes new heroes, minions, cards, and a revamped system featuring Trinkets. Let's explore the key additions and changes.

The Big News: Trinkets!

Trinkets are the new power-ups, available on turns 6 and 9. Players choose from four options, with 56 Lesser and 60 Greater Trinkets available. The Trinkets offered are influenced by your hero and current board composition (Elementals, Dragons, Murlocs, etc.), ensuring diverse strategic options.

Meet Marin the Manager: The New Hero

Marin the Manager joins the roster, providing a significant advantage: he allows you to acquire a Trinket a turn earlier than usual.

Roster Revamp: Minions In and Out

Season 8 sees a significant minion refresh. While 41 minions are rotating out, 22 returning favorites and 27 brand new minions are introduced, alongside 2 new Tavern spells.

New Cards to Collect

Four new cards add to the strategic depth:

• Free Travel Winner (Tier 2): A 2/2 minion that disappears after surviving combat, rewarding you with a Triple Reward.
• Inspiring Underdog (Tier 4): Strengthens your lower-tier minions.
• Lucky Egg (Tier 5): Transforms into a Golden Tier 3 minion.
• Sun Screener (Tier 6): A 10/1 minion granting Divine Shield to your three leftmost minions and your opponent's three leftmost minions.

Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt Event

From August 27th to September 17th, participate in the Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt event. Complete Event Quests to earn 14 total packs, including those from Perils in Paradise and Whizbang's Workshop.
