Mastering Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium: A Comprehensive Progression Guide
This guide provides a strategic approach to progressing efficiently in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, developed by Mica and Sunborn. The primary objective is rapid story campaign completion to reach Commander level 30, unlocking crucial features like PvP and rewarding Boss Fights.
Table of Contents
Rerolling for a Strong Start
Free-to-play (F2P) players should strongly consider rerolling to maximize their initial advantage. Aim to acquire Suomi from the rate-up banner, alongside Qiongjiu or Tololo from the standard or discounted beginner's banner. This powerful starting duo significantly streamlines early game progression.
Prioritizing Story Missions
Focus on completing story campaign missions as quickly as possible. Ignore side battles initially; concentrate on leveling your Commander. Prioritize campaign missions until Commander level increases become necessary for progression.
Strategic Summoning
Conserve Collapse Pieces exclusively for rate-up banners. If Suomi is unavailable, invest all resources in her banner. Otherwise, use standard summoning tickets (not Collapse Pieces) on the standard banner to acquire additional SSR characters.
Leveling Up and Limit Breaking
Character levels are linked to Commander level. Upon reaching level 20, you'll need Stock Bars (obtained from Supply Missions) to break the level cap. Prioritize your main team (ideally Suomi, Qiongjiu/Tololo, Sharkry, and Ksenia, substituting Ksenia for Tololo if available).
Leveraging Event Missions
At level 20, participate in limited-time events. Complete all Normal missions, then at least the first Hard mission daily (three attempts). Use event currency to acquire summon tickets, Collapse Pieces, SR characters, weapons, and resources from the event shop.
Utilizing the Dispatch Room and Affinity System
Increase Doll affinity in the Dormitory to unlock Dispatch missions, providing idle resource generation, Wish Coins (for a separate gacha system), and a chance to obtain Perithya. The Dispatch shop offers summon tickets and other valuable items.
Conquering Boss Fights and Combat Exercises
Focus on Boss Fights (a scoring mode) and Combat Exercises (PvP). An optimal team for Boss Fights includes Qiongjiu, Suomi, Ksenia, and Sharkry. In Combat Exercises, set a weak defense to allow others to farm points while targeting easier opponents for your own gains.
Tackling Hard Mode Campaign Missions
After completing Normal mode campaign missions, progress to Hard mode and side battles for additional Collapse Pieces and summon tickets. These missions don't provide Commander experience.
