Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Beta Testing Imminent

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is launching its first closed beta on Android and PC! Netmarble's upcoming action-adventure title transports players to Westeros for a third-person experience. Sign-ups are open now, with the beta kicking off January 15th!

Netmarble's Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, based on George R.R. Martin's books and the HBO series, will hold a closed beta from January 15th to the 22nd in the US, Canada, and select European regions. Android applications are open now!

Unlike previous mobile Game of Thrones titles that focused on strategy, Kingsroad offers a single-character perspective. Players become the heir to House Tyre, embarking on a Westerosi adventure filled with battles and prestige-building.

The trailer showcases a Witcher-esque style, featuring third-person exploration and combat, with three classes to choose from: Sellsword, Knight, and Assassin. While visually impressive, the true test lies in gameplay.

Winter is coming (or is already here!) Register for the closed beta before January 12th! While visually appealing, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will undoubtedly face intense scrutiny. Although the peak of Game of Thrones' popularity may have passed, its dedicated fanbase eagerly awaits a ground-level experience like this.

Monetization and long-term support will be crucial factors. However, if Netmarble delivers, they could provide the Game of Thrones experience fans have long desired.
