Critical Role Postpones Campaign 3 Climax Due to Los Angeles Fires

Due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, Critical Role has postponed this week's episode of Campaign 3. The cast, crew, and community have been directly impacted. While a return to streaming on January 16th is hoped for, further delays are possible.

Campaign 3 is nearing its thrilling conclusion, with the episode count remaining uncertain. The previous episode ended on a significant cliffhanger, leaving fans eager to see how the Bells Hells face their ultimate threat. The possibility of a new campaign using the Daggerheart TTRPG system is also on the horizon.

The January 9th episode was canceled due to the emergency situation. Matt Mercer and Marisha Ray were forced to evacuate, while Dani Carr was directly affected by the fires but is safe. Producer Kyle Shire unfortunately lost his home but escaped safely with his pets. Other cast members have shared updates confirming their safety.

While a one-week delay is the current plan, continued patience is requested from fans as the situation evolves. Critical Role encourages support for those affected, and the Critical Role Foundation is donating $30,000 to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund. The show's motto, "Don't forget to love each other," resonates deeply during this challenging time.
