How to Trade in Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2 offers two primary trading methods: direct in-game trades and the official trade website. Let's examine both.

In-Game Trading

If you're in the same game instance, right-click a player's character and select "Trade." Both players then choose items for exchange. Once both agree, confirm the trade.

Alternatively, use global chat or direct messages to arrange a trade. Right-click a player's name in chat, invite them to your party, teleport to their location, and then initiate a trade via right-click.

Path of Exile 2 Trade Site

Path of Exile 2's online marketplace is accessible only through the official trade website (link provided in the original article). A PoE account linked to your platform is required.

To buy, use the website's filters to locate desired items. Click "Direct Whisper" to send an in-game message to the seller, initiating communication and arranging a meetup for the transaction.

Selling requires a Premium Stash Tab (purchased from the in-game Microtransaction Shop). Place the item in the Premium Stash, set it to "Public," and optionally set a price via right-click. The item will automatically appear on the trade site. Buyers will then contact you in-game to complete the exchange.
