Pawn Shop and 'Fancy Stuff' Added in Schedule I Update 0.3.4

Author:Kristen Update:Apr 21,2025

Developer Tyler has just rolled out the 0.3.4 update for the wildly popular drug dealer simulator, Schedule I, following a brief testing phase. The update, detailed in Steam patch notes, marks the first significant content expansion since the game's explosive launch into early access on March 24.

Version 0.3.4 introduces a slew of new features including a functional pawn shop, a boutique store, and various wall decorations. In a Steam post, Tyler apologized for the delay, explaining, "I'm still ironing out the update/testing process." He assured players that future updates will be smoother and more timely, with plans for larger monthly updates starting next month.

Looking ahead, Tyler's primary focus is on addressing remaining bugs, which he listed as top priorities:

  • Ensuring employees work consistently and without issues.
  • Preventing save game corruption and disappearance, with insights from Valve to improve the save file format for better compatibility with Steam Cloud saves.
  • Reducing disconnections and loading issues in multiplayer.

Additionally, Tyler aims to enhance the game's optimization and achieve Steam Deck verification soon, using it as a performance benchmark.

For those looking to delve deeper into the game, check out IGN's Schedule I guide. It covers everything from the basics of mixing recipes and creating profitable blends, to accessing console commands, and the fastest way to enter multiplayer co-op to conquer Hyland Point with friends.

Schedule I was the top-selling game on Steam upon its launch, outpacing big titles like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals after going viral on social media, Twitch, and YouTube. In the game, players start as small-time dealers and rise to become kingpins, managing the production and distribution of various drugs in the gritty city of Hyland Point. Players can expand their empire through properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

Developed and published by TVGS, an Australian indie developer led by Tyler, Schedule I's launch has been described as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." Tyler shared his surprise at the game's reception on reddit, saying, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
