Honkai Impact Releases v8.0: Journey to 'In Search of the Sun'

Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.0 update, In Search of the Sun, arrives January 9th! This update introduces Durandal's exciting new battlesuit, Reign Solaris, alongside fresh events and story content.

Reign Solaris: Durandal's New Battlesuit

Durandal's new IMG-type Physical DMG battlesuit, Reign Solaris, boasts two distinct forms: Rampager and Skyrider. In Rampager mode, she unleashes devastating javelin attacks. Switching to Skyrider mode, she utilizes a hoverboard for lightning-fast combos. Her ultimate involves a sky-high launch, followed by a powerful javelin strike.

New Gear and Stigma Set

Reign Solaris receives dedicated weaponry: the Valorous Effulgence weapon and its PRI-ARM upgrade, New Voyage. These enhance QTEs and provide extra javelins. A new stigma set, Illuminating the Universe, depicts Durandal's parallel universe adventures, featuring soccer, bands, skateboarding, and more.

Main Story Update: Chapter VII, Part 2

Chapter VII, Part 2: Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes, returns to Mars. Dreamseeker and her team delve deeper into the Ten Shus War, uncovering more about Coralie's fate and encountering a connection to the mysterious eye in Helia's mind.

New Cube Game and Event

A new cube puzzle game features Vita and young Durandal, tasked with cleaning dirty data. Rewards include 60 million Crystals, Source Prisms, and more.

The Countdown: To Sweet Dreams event offers comedic encounters with Mei, Theresa, Fu Hua, Herrscher of Sentience, Griseo, Carole, and Vita. This event includes a boss fight involving dodging drumsticks and rhythmic counterattacks, commanding followers in battles, and even monster training. Rewards include emblems, Crystals, Source Prisms, and Senadina's new outfit, Steering Inequations.
