China has approved the release of the Genshin Impact, GTA and ZZZ hybrid

Ananta, the highly anticipated game formerly known as Project Mugen, is nearing its full release. Early promotional materials have generated significant buzz, showcasing a unique blend of popular game elements reminiscent of Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.

Ananta's release in China has been approved, with a planned 2025 launch across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A recent trailer (December 5th) highlighted its open-world urban RPG setting, where players assume the role of an A.C.D. agent investigating mysteries in the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova.

This ambitious undertaking is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. The developers emphasize the global appeal stemming from its familiar environments infused with supernatural elements.

Key features of Ananta include four-player team-based combat, a distinctive art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
