Avowed

Just one month after its release, including its availability on Game Pass, Obsidian and Xbox Game Studios have released an exciting new trailer for Avowed. This video celebrates the game's success by featuring glowing reviews and quotes from gaming journalists, emphasizing the warm reception of this action-RPG.

The latest update introduces support for DLSS 4, which includes Multi Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and DLAA. These advanced technologies significantly enhance the game's performance. NVIDIA has demonstrated that players can experience up to a threefold increase in frame rates at maximum 4K settings, achieving an impressive 340 FPS. Additionally, the developers have teased upcoming announcements about the game’s future support and roadmap in the coming weeks.

This update isn't solely about technical enhancements; it also improves the overall player experience. Gamers will now receive an additional talent point every five levels, and those who have already progressed in the game will automatically receive their points upon loading. Keyboard and mouse users can now toggle between walking and running, enhancing gameplay control. A new accessibility feature also increases font sizes in documents, guides, and other in-game text, making the game more accessible to a wider audience.

While Avowed didn't leave critics entirely speechless, it has still received strong reviews across the board. Digital Foundry went as far as to call the game a technical "triumph," reinforcing Avowed's status as a standout title from Obsidian.
