When Does the AFK Journey New Season (Chains of Eternity) Release? Answered

The free-to-play RPG AFK Journey receives regular seasonal updates, introducing new maps, storylines, and heroes. The next season, "Chains of Eternity," is launching soon.

Chains of Eternity Release Date

The global version of AFK Journey will receive the Chains of Eternity update on January 17th. Other regions and servers will gain access 35 days after their server launch, provided players meet these prerequisites:

• Reach Resonance Level 240.
• Complete all pre-season AFK stages.

Meeting these requirements and having a server older than 35 days ensures simultaneous access to the new season.

Chains of Eternity: New Content

Chains of Eternity brings significant additions to AFK Journey, including:

• New map and story content.
• New heroes: Lorsan (Wilder), Elijah and Lailah (Celestial).
• New boss: Illucia (Dream Realm).

This season also introduces changes to gameplay mechanics:

• A daily cap on AFK progress.
• Revised Paragon levels, significantly increasing their impact.
• Exclusive Equipment enhancements, boosting the effectiveness of upgrading from +15 to +20, although this increased investment comes at a higher cost. This means investing in existing Supreme+ units will yield greater returns.
