Free Fire Drops Winterlands: Aurora Event with New Characters and Bundles!

Free Fire's Winterlands festival returns with a dazzling Aurora display! This year's event features exciting additions like Frosty Tracks, the new character Koda, and an enchanting aurora transforming the game into a winter wonderland.

Winterlands: Aurora in Free Fire – A Closer Look

Koda, Free Fire's newest character, hails from a technologically advanced arctic region. His unique ability, Aurora Vision, grants him increased speed and the ability to spot enemies concealed behind cover, even providing a preview of enemy locations while parachuting. His backstory involves a mystical fox mask discovered under an aurora, forging a bond with snow foxes that fuels his battlefield prowess.

This year's Winterlands theme centers around the aurora. Bermuda map boasts an aurora-filled sky and a dynamic Aurora Forecast system. This weather predictor influences gameplay by providing combat-altering buffs based on the forecast.

Frosty Tracks, a new addition, are icy pathways scattered across the Battle Royale and Clash Squad maps. Players can skate along these tracks—including areas like the Festival Clock Tower and Factory in Bermuda—while engaging in combat. Special Coin Machines positioned along these tracks reward players with 100 FF Coins. In Clash Squad, these frosty highways appear in locations such as Katulistiwa, Mill, and Hangar. Battle Royale players should watch for aurora-enhanced Coin Machines, while Clash Squad players can seek out Supply Gadgets imbued with the magical aurora. Interacting with these elements completes event quests and grants squad buffs.

Winterlands: Aurora also introduces a fun social element. When playing in a squad, friends are represented as adorable snowballs on the event interface, adding a playful touch to the experience. Completing friend-specific tasks unlocks rewards like an AWM skin and a Melee Skin.
