Game Rules:
Tongits is a three-player game using a standard 52-card deck (no jokers). Card values are: Ace (1 point), Jacks, Queens, Kings (10 points each), and other cards at face value.
Objective: The goal is to create sets and runs, minimizing the number of unmatched cards in your hand at the end of the round.
- Runs: Three or more consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g., ♥4, ♥5, ♥6). Aces are low.
- Sets: Three or four cards of the same rank (e.g., ♥7, ♣7, ♦7). A card can only be part of one combination.
Gameplay:

Dealing: The dealer is randomly chosen in the first round and then rotates to the winner of the previous round. Each player receives thirteen cards (dealer) or twelve cards (other players). The remaining cards form the stock pile.

Turns: Each turn involves drawing a card (from either the stock or the discard pile – only from the discard pile if you can immediately meld it), melding (creating sets or runs and placing them on the table), laying off (adding cards to existing melds), and discarding a card. A hand must have at least one meld to be considered open. A set of four can be melded face down, providing a bonus and keeping the cards hidden.
