Thunee, named after the Tamil word for "water," is a widely enjoyed trick-taking card game that originated in Durban, South Africa. It draws its roots from the game 304, which is popular in India and Sri Lanka. Whether you choose to play in Single Player or Multiplayer mode, Thunee offers an unparalleled gaming experience that closely simulates the real-life game. For the best gameplay and to upload or update your scores, an online connection is essential.

In Multiplayer mode, you can invite someone to be your partner or challenge them to a match. Inviting others is simple, thanks to push notifications and WhatsApp messages. The app keeps track of the results and statistics of games played with friends, which you can view on the statistics page. This feature allows you to boast about who the best player is within your circle.

For beginners, the Easy difficulty setting provides assistance and narration during play, making it easier to learn the game. The app is highly customizable through its settings/options, allowing you to tailor the game to your preferred style. You can adjust various options such as:

Choosing between Hard, Medium, or Easy difficulty levels.
Enabling score assistance for Medium and Easy modes, which provides real-time scores and trick/hand values.
Setting preferences for when to be prompted to bid, such as all the time or only when holding three or more cards of the same suit or J9.
Activating an option to offer early win or loss if either you or your opponents exceed the required score (this is set to on by default).
Allowing early victory claims, including Double and Khanuck claims.
Adjusting the time to clear a trick (hand), with the option to click on the trick to clear it earlier than the set duration (default is 1 second).
Including vocal sounds for bidding, calling Jodhi, and other game actions.
Customizing the game's appearance by changing the background or selecting your own color with a vignette effect, as well as changing card packs.
Choosing whether to include Royals, where the value of cards is reversed (e.g., Queens become Jacks, Kings become Nines, etc.).
