WoW Unveils Timewalking Event for Turbulent Timeways

World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Seven Weeks of Turbulent Timeways!

World of Warcraft's Turbulent Timeways event is back, and it's bigger than ever! Enjoy seven consecutive weeks of Timewalking campaigns, running until February 24th. This extended event offers players a fantastic opportunity to earn exciting new rewards, amass Timewarped Badges, and benefit from a significant experience boost.

This event, initially launched in September 2023 with a five-week run, returns with even more Timewalking goodness. Players can achieve Mastery of Timeways each week by completing four Timewalking dungeons, granting a powerful 20% experience buff.

The Timewalking schedule is as follows:

• January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
• January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
• January 21-27: Legion
• January 28-February 3: Classic
• February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
• February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
• February 18-24: Cataclysm

Complete Mastery of Timeways for five out of these seven weeks to unlock the "Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2" achievement and claim the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount! Timewalking vendors for each expansion feature permanent additions, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. Additionally, the Sandy Shalewing pet, previously available only during the initial Turbulent Timeways event, makes a return. Furthermore, completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest rewards Heroic-level gear throughout the event's duration.

With the recent conclusion of the WoW 20th-anniversary event (featuring 11 weeks of Timewalking), players will have enjoyed a whopping 18 consecutive weeks of Timewalking adventures!

The Turbulent Timeways event's end date hints at future World of Warcraft plans. The final Timewalking campaign concludes on February 24th. Considering Blizzard's typical release schedule and the holiday season, this strongly suggests that World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, "Undermined," will launch on February 25th, ten weeks after Patch 11.0.7. Combined with the second run of Plunderstorm (January 14th – February 17th) and the upcoming major content update for The War Within, World of Warcraft is set for an action-packed start to 2025.
