What Does the Weird Flower Do in Stalker 2?

In Stalker 2, the Poppy Field Anomalous Zone holds a unique Artifact: the Weird Flower. This guide explains its location and use.

Finding the Weird Flower

The Weird Flower is located in the northern part of the Poppy Field, beyond the central L-shaped building. Be warned: the field's effects cause drowsiness and hallucinations. Carry plenty of Non-Stop Energy Drinks to survive. The Artifact is a small blue flower on the ground.

Using the Weird Flower

Equip the Weird Flower in an available Artifact slot above your Quick Access menu. The number of slots varies with your gear; early-game players usually have only one.

The Weird Flower provides a temporary stealth bonus, but only after sleeping while wearing it. A convenient sleeping spot is in the side room of the Trader's location in the Lesser Zone. Note that sleeping can advance the in-game time significantly.

The Weird Flower's practical value is limited by the scarcity of sleeping locations and may not be essential for all playstyles.
