Marmalade Game Studio has released a new expansion for their digital board game, Ticket to Ride: Legendary Asia. This is their fourth major expansion, and a great reason to try the game if you haven't already.

Explore the breathtaking landscapes of Asia in this latest expansion! Two new characters join the adventure: Wang Ling, a captivating opera singer, and Lê Chinh, a seasoned artisan with extensive Asian travel experience.

These characters introduce exciting new locomotives to the game, including the majestic Emperor, the mystical Mountain Maiden, and the luxurious Silk Zephyr carriage. For a more spiritual journey, opt for the serene Pagoda Pilgrim carriage.

Strategic route planning is key in Legendary Asia. A new bonus, the Asian Explorer Bonus, rewards players for creating the longest routes and connecting the most cities. However, points are awarded only for the first visit to each city, demanding careful route optimization – no loops allowed!

The game map is set in 1913, offering a unique historical perspective. This includes a unified Korea, a geographically altered India (with western provinces incorporated into Bangladesh), Iraq encompassing Kuwait, and a borderless Africa.
