Spawn Joins Mortal Kombat Mobile Roster

Mortal Kombat Mobile welcomes back the iconic guest character, Spawn, based on his Mortal Kombat 11 design. This addition to the mobile fighting game roster is significant, particularly given the inclusion of MK1 Kenshi alongside him. The update also boasts three new Friendship interactions and a Brutality move.

Spawn, the anti-hero created by Todd McFarlane, originates from the Image Comics universe. A murdered soldier who bargains with the Devil, he returns to Earth with supernatural abilities, potentially heralding the apocalypse. His popularity made him a highly sought-after guest character, with his first appearance in Mortal Kombat 11.

Spawn's arrival in Mortal Kombat Mobile is currently live, offering players new gameplay elements. The update introduces new Hellspawn-themed challenges. Download it now on the iOS App Store and Google Play. While this update is exciting, reports suggest the Netherrealm Studios mobile team responsible may have been recently dismissed, potentially marking the end of an era.
