Roselia Spotlight Hour

This week's Spotlight Hour features Roselia on January 14th, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Prepare beforehand with plenty of Poké Balls, Berries, and Incense to maximize your catches. This event also includes a 2x Catch XP bonus, offering a fantastic XP boost.

Roselia, the Grass and Poison-type Pokémon (#0315), hails from the Hoenn region (Generation 3). It boasts a max Combat Power (CP) of 2114, with 186 Attack and 131 Defense. Roselia is part of a three-stage evolution line: Budew evolves into Roselia (25 Candies), and Roselia evolves into Roserade (100 Candies and a Sinnoh Stone).

Catching a Roselia rewards you with 3 Candies and 100 Stardust.

Roselia is tradeable within Pokémon GO and can also be transferred to Pokémon HOME. As a Grass and Poison type, it's weak to Fire, Flying, Ice, and Psychic-type attacks (taking 160% more damage), but resists Electric, Fairy, Fighting, and Water-type attacks (63% reduced damage). Grass-type attacks inflict the least damage (39% reduction). Roselia's best moveset is Poison Jab (Poison) and Sludge Bomb (Poison), delivering 10.96 DPS and 99.91 TDO. Cloudy weather boosts its attack.

A Shiny Roselia is available! Increase your chances by using Incense and preparing to catch any that appear using Berries. Shiny Roselia features a brighter green body and purple and black roses.
