After a small leak last week, EA has officially confirmed the title of its next Star Wars game: *Star Wars: Zero Company*. This eagerly anticipated title is being developed by Bit Reactor, with support from Lucasfilm Games and Respawn.

While details about Star Wars: Zero Company remain sparse, we do know that it will be a "single-player turn-based tactics game." Fans won't have to wait long for more information, as EA plans to unveil a first look at the game on April 19 during the Star Wars Celebration in Japan.

Bit Reactor, the developer behind Zero Company, is a newly-formed strategy game studio founded in 2022. The team consists of industry veterans from acclaimed titles such as XCOM, Civilization, Gears of War, and Elder Scrolls Online. Although it's been known that Bit Reactor was working on a Star Wars game with Respawn, this is the first time concrete details about the project have surfaced.

As for Respawn's role, it remains somewhat unclear how involved the studio is with Zero Company. Respawn has faced several challenges recently, including the cancellation of its own Star Wars FPS project last year, mass layoffs at EA, and the termination of another multiplayer FPS project just last month.

More details about Star Wars: Zero Company will be shared at a live panel on Saturday, April 19 at 4:30pm local time in Japan. For those in the U.S., that translates to an inconvenient 12:30am PT and 3:30am ET, so make sure to set your alarms accordingly.
