Path of Exile 2's Hidden Golden Idols: A Guide to Finding and Selling Them

Path of Exile 2 features numerous quests, some less obvious than others. Act 3 introduces a unique collectible: Golden Idols. These are classified as quest items but function differently. Unlike typical quest items, finding them doesn't update your quest log. Instead of progressing a quest, these idols offer a significant gold reward. There are five to discover.

How to Find the Golden Idols

After exploring the Vaal ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment in Act 3, a portal transports you to Utzaal (The Drowned City in the present), showcasing the Vaal civilization at its peak. Within Utzaal and the connected area, Aggorat, lie the Golden Idols. They're not enemy drops; instead, they're found on the ground or pedestals, usually in side rooms.

Selling Your Golden Idols

Once collected, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and locate Oswald in the northern part of the area. He's the only vendor who buys them. The selling prices are:

• Golden Idol: 500 Gold
• Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
• Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
• Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
• Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold

Finding all five yields 6000 Gold. Since they're valuable but take up inventory space, sell them immediately after discovery to maximize your gold and free up space.
