• Visual Upgrades: Player likeness updates for numerous players and coaches (including Stephen Curry and Joel Embiid), along with court corrections (Los Angeles Clippers logo and Emirates NBA Cup court) and uniform sponsor patch fixes, enhance the game's visual fidelity.

• Gameplay Enhancements (Patch 4.0): Significant gameplay adjustments aim for increased realism. "Light Pressure" shot defense is now categorized into Weak, Moderate, and Strong, providing more granular shot feedback. Ball-rim physics have been tweaked to reduce excessively long rebounds. Defensive mechanics have been updated to prevent unfair disruptions of skill dunks, and the Offensive 3 Seconds rule has been implemented in 1v1 modes.

• Mode-Specific Improvements: Stability and progression issues across MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and MyNBA modes have been addressed. MyCAREER features progression fixes and prevents skipping scheduled NBA Cup games. MyTEAM boasts visual updates, fixes for saving Favorite Plays, and challenge progression blockers.
