Boost Your GTA Online Strength: Ten Effective Methods

While cruising and causing mayhem are fun in GTA Online, leveling up your character's stats significantly enhances gameplay. Strength, in particular, impacts melee combat, sports, and even climbing speed. However, increasing Strength can be challenging. Here are ten methods to boost your Strength stat:

1. Good Old Fashioned Punching

Fighting Barehanded Raises Strength

Land 20 punches to gain 1% Strength. This works on both AI pedestrians and other players – consider teaming up with a friend for mutual strength gains.

2. Fail the Bar Resupply

It’s All About the Failed Delivery

The Criminal Enterprises DLC's "Bar Resupply" mission offers a repeatable opportunity. Focus on missions requiring intimidation; repeatedly punching the NPC until the timer runs out nets Strength gains without mission completion.

3. Get a Helping Hand

Cheat One’s Way to Strength Gains

Team up with a friend. One player enters a vehicle while the other repeatedly punches the car for about 10 minutes. The game registers this as targeting the in-vehicle player, awarding Strength. Take turns.

4. Spam "A Titan of a Job"

No Need to Steal a Plane

This mission (Rank 24+) involves stealing a plane, but you can exploit it. Before reaching the airport (where Wanted Levels trigger), punch NPCs in a high-pedestrian area to gain Strength.

5. Abuse "Pier Pressure"

Fight Everyone at the Beach

In this Gerald mission, avoid the main objective. Instead, head to Del Perro Beach and punch NPCs repeatedly, as there are no Wanted Levels in this area.

6. Stall "Death Metal"

Another Way to Abuse No-Wanted Level Missions

Similar to "Pier Pressure," this Gerald mission allows for Strength training by delaying the objective and punching NPCs in a Wanted Level-free zone, such as the beach.

7. Join a Fists-Only Deathmatch

For Fun, For Co-Leveling

Create or find a Deathmatch with fists as the only weapon. This is a fun and efficient way to increase Strength, especially if others are doing the same.

8. Create a Survival Mission

Test a Game to Oblivion

Use the Content Creator to build a Survival mission with low-difficulty, barehanded enemies. Testing this mission, even as a trial run, increases Strength.

9. Close the Metro for a Fistfight

Brute-Force NPCs into a Chokehold

Use a vehicle to block a metro station entrance/exit, trapping NPCs. Punch them repeatedly as they respawn.

10. Get Golfing

A Casual Sport That Improves Strength

Surprisingly, golf improves Strength! Higher Strength translates to longer drives. Play solo, with friends, or competitively.
