Leslie Benzies, the mastermind behind Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption, unveils his next project: MindsEye. This high-octane spy thriller, showcased at PlayStation's State of Play, offers a fresh glimpse into its action-packed gameplay.

A newly released trailer highlights the game's third-person shooting mechanics, stunning cinematic sequences, and thrilling drive-by shootouts, echoing familiar elements from Benzies' previous work. View the cinematic trailer below:

MindsEye follows Jacob Diaz, a protagonist equipped with a neural implant – the MindsEye – that has fragmented his memories, leaving him with disorienting flashbacks of his military past. His quest to uncover the truth about his history pits him against an AI-powered military force determined to obstruct his path.

The game, announced several years ago, is a collaborative effort between Benzies' studio, Build a Rocket Boy, and IO Interactive, renowned for the Hitman series. Initially described as a AAA action-adventure title, MindsEye will also launch alongside the Everywhere platform, previously compared to a "big-budget Roblox" following a studio visit in 2024.

While the new trailer doesn't explicitly feature Everywhere, MindsEye itself promises an exhilarating action experience from a prominent figure in the gaming industry. Its release is slated for Summer 2025.
