Fortnite Unveils "Reload Mode" Revival, Restoring Popular Weapons and Arenas

Fortnite's new "Reload" mode is a nostalgic blast from the past with a modern twist! This fast-paced mode throws 40 players onto a smaller map packed with iconic locations from previous seasons, bringing back the thrill of classic Fortnite.

What Makes Reload Mode Unique?

Reload mode offers intense squad-based combat with a high-stakes twist: a full squad wipe means immediate elimination – no second chances. Whether you prefer Battle Royale or Zero Build, survival depends on your team's ability to stay alive.

The action unfolds on a compact island featuring fan-favorite locations like Tilted Towers and Retail Row. While vehicles are absent, the loot pool is brimming with unvaulted weapons, including old favorites like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler.

Victory Crowns remain a key element, and when revived, players return with a common Assault Rifle (and building materials in Build mode). The Reboot Timer adds another layer of strategy, starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40 seconds as the match progresses. Eliminating opponents reduces this timer, allowing for quicker revivals.

Elimination and Resourcefulness

Elimination isn't the end. Fallen players drop Small Shield Potions, ammo, and building materials (in Build mode), keeping the battle intense and resource-driven.

Earn amazing rewards! Complete Reload mode's introductory quests for substantial XP and exclusive cosmetics:

• Complete 3 quests: Unlock the Digital Dogfight Contrail.
• Complete 6 quests: Unlock the Pool Cubes Wrap.
• Complete 9 quests: Unlock the NaNa Bath Back Bling.
• Win a Victory Royale: Earn The Rezzbrella Glider.
