Fantasian Neo Dimension: Mastering the Tachyon Medal

Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a captivating world where Leo and his companions confront Jas's devastating "Zero" plan. The game's compelling narrative and unique mechanics create an immersive experience. The Tachyon Medal, a crucial late-game item, is central to a challenging side quest. Obtaining it is only the first step; its true function unfolds later. This guide details how to acquire and utilize the Tachyon Medal.

Locating the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, emerging as the final item before the final boss encounter. To obtain it, progress through the main storyline until reaching Sanctum, located in the God Realm via the Communication Network. Inside the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. This boss frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack (90% HP drain), so ensure Kina is prepared for significant healing. Equipping Petrification Null gear significantly eases the battle.

Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves effective against summoned enemies. Consider including Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities inflict substantial damage.

After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amidst the rubble, locate a chest to your right—this contains the Tachyon Medal.

Utilizing the Tachyon Medal

Activating the Tachyon Medal requires completing two prerequisites: reaching the Altar in Shangri-La and finishing the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. The Cinderella Tri-Stars appear in eight locations, with the first two integrated into the main storyline:

  1. En New District
  2. Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
  3. Royal Capital - Main Street
  4. Frozen Tundra - Center
  5. Hidden Valley – Duet Path
  6. Ancient Hill – River
  7. Nameless Island – Depths
  8. Shangri-La – Fallen City

Defeat these bosses in the specified order. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, three chests below the Altar become accessible; one contains the Holy Belt (All Ailment Null).

Opening all chests triggers a glow on the door, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, carrying over levels, items, and equipment. While enemies are enhanced, this shouldn't pose significant difficulty, especially if all side quests were completed beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your quest to save the Human Realm.
