Dredge's Mobile Release Pushed, Beta in December

Author:Kristen Update:Jan 02,2025

Dredge's mobile release delayed until February 2025, but a new closed beta is now open!

Fans of Black Salt Games' Lovecraftian fishing horror, Dredge, will have to wait a little longer for the mobile version. The release has been pushed back to February 2025. However, the delay is accompanied by good news: sign-ups are now open for a new closed beta test.

In Dredge, players take on the role of a fisherman in the unsettling town of Greater Marrow. What begins as simple fishing quickly turns into a chilling adventure filled with strange sea creatures, mysterious entities, and the ever-present threat of madness. A nearby, enigmatic island adds another layer of mystery to the already unnerving atmosphere.

A challenging port

The delay is understandable, considering the complexity of adapting Dredge's expansive world to mobile devices. However, the additional closed beta is a smart move, allowing Black Salt Games to gather valuable player feedback before the official launch. This ensures a smoother and more enjoyable mobile experience.
