Coromon: Rogue Planet Announced for 2025 Release

TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free) will launch next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title seamlessly blends the turn-based combat of its predecessor with roguelite elements, promising endless replayability in its monster-collecting gameplay loop. The Steam page highlights 10 ever-changing biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:

The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile title. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, and whether its release coincides with the Steam and Switch versions. You can wishlist Coromon: Rogue Planet on Steam now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds incredibly appealing. Based on the Steam screenshots, it appears perfectly suited for short bursts of play. In the meantime, the original Coromon is available for free on iOS.
