Get ready for an exciting Pokémon Go February Community Day on February 9th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, where Karrablast and Shelmet will take center stage. These two Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild, giving you ample opportunities to catch them, including their elusive Shiny versions.

Who Are the New Pokémon in the Pokémon Go February Community Day?

Karrablast and Shelmet are the stars of the event. Evolving Karrablast during the event or up until February 16th at 10:00 p.m. local time will yield an Escavalier with the Charged Attack Razor Shell. This move delivers 35 power in Trainer Battles and a hefty 55 power in Gyms and Raids. On the other hand, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe will grant you an Accelgor equipped with the Charged Attack Energy Ball, boasting 90 power in both Trainer Battles and Gyms and Raids.

Engage in the Special Research to encounter Karrablast and Shelmet with unique Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, along with receiving a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. Additionally, a Timed Research event will extend a week after the main event, allowing you to log in and complete tasks for more encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet, complete with the special backgrounds.
