The inclusion of mobile games alongside their PC counterparts underscores the growing significance of the mobile gaming market. "What the Car?", previously highlighted in a Pocket Gamer article featuring noteworthy undiscovered games, proved a deserving winner. This recognition may necessitate an update to that original list, given the game's potential for wider acclaim.

While "What the Car?" took center stage, other notable nominees included Junkworld, Bella Pelo Mundo, An Elmwood Trail, Sibel's Journey, Residuum Tales of Coral, and SPHEX. These finalists, all showcasing high-quality gameplay, represent the best of mobile gaming innovation.
