Story

Your adventure begins in a forest close to the village of Riders, where you, along with your friends Lilia and Cheval, discover a radiant egg. In a moment of playfulness, you conduct the Rite of Kinship, only to be astounded when the ritual actually works, and the egg hatches into a baby Rathalos, a majestic flying wyvern known as "the King of the Skies." Naming him Ratha, you bring him back to the village.

Tragedy strikes when a monster infected by "the Black Blight" attacks the village, leaving it in ruins and deeply affecting Cheval and Lilia. A year later, as you become an official Rider with a Kinship Stone from the Village Chief, your friends embark on their own journeys. With the cheerful Navirou by your side, you set out on a new adventure filled with friendship and triumph.
