Classic Tri Peaks Solitaire: A Card Game Guide

Tri Peaks (also known as Three Peaks, Tri Towers, or Triple Peaks) is a popular solitaire card game played with a standard 52-card deck. The goal is to clear three pyramidal stacks of cards.

The game begins with eighteen cards arranged face-down in three pyramids, each pyramid having three layers with overlapping cards. Above the pyramids are ten face-up cards.

The remaining twenty-four cards form the stock pile. The first card from the stock is placed in the waste pile. To move a tableau card to the waste pile, it must be one rank higher or lower than the current top card of the waste pile, regardless of suit. This new card then becomes the top card, and the process continues (for example: 7-8-9-10-9-10-J-10-9-8, etc.) until no valid moves remain. As cards are removed, any previously face-down cards that are no longer covered are turned face-up.
