Getting your VAT refund with ZappTax is a breeze. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Start by downloading our free app and completing your profile. It's the first step towards saving on VAT.

Step 2: Enter the dates of your stay in the European Union to ensure your shopping is covered for VAT refunds.

Step 3: While shopping, request a “VAT invoice made out to ZappTax” from the merchant. Simply photograph your invoices and upload them to the app, or forward them via email to [email protected].

Step 4: At the end of your trip, request the automatic generation of your tax-free forms within the app. You'll receive one or more forms detailing all your purchases.

Step 5: Before leaving the EU, validate your tax refund forms electronically at customs. You can do this by scanning the forms' barcode at a self-service kiosk (PABLO device in France and DIVA in Spain) or by presenting your passport to a customs agent in Belgium.
