Samsung Notes

Samsung Notes offers a versatile platform for creating, editing, and collaborating on documents across mobile, tablet, and PC devices. With the ability to add annotations to PDFs using the S Pen, and the option to include images or voice recordings, Samsung Notes is a comprehensive tool for document management.

To enhance your productivity, you can connect your documents with various apps such as PDF, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Here’s how you can get started:

Creating a New Note:

• Begin by tapping the + icon located in the bottom right corner of the main screen. Your newly created notes will be saved with the “sdocx” extension, ensuring compatibility and ease of access.

Protecting Your Notes:

1. From the main screen, tap More Options in the upper right corner, then select Settings, followed by Lock Note.
2. Choose your preferred note locking method and set a password.
3. To lock individual notes, navigate to the note you wish to protect, tap More Options, and select Lock Note.

Creating Handwritten Notes:

• While writing a note, tap the Handwriting icon to directly input your handwriting onto the note.

Adding Photos:

• Enhance your notes by tapping the photo icon within the note. You can take a new photo or load, tag, and edit an existing one.

Adding Voice Recordings:

• Capture sound by tapping the Voice Recording icon while writing a note, allowing you to create notes with audio elements.

Using Various Writing Tools:

• Customize your writing experience by tapping the Pen icon to choose from a range of tools such as pens, fountain pens, pencils, and highlighters, along with various colors and thicknesses. Use the Eraser icon to remove unwanted content.

Importing Notes and Memos:

• Utilize the Smart Switch feature to import data from S Note and Memo saved on other devices. You can also sync previously created notes and memos using your Samsung account.

App Access Permissions:

• Samsung Notes requires certain permissions to function optimally. Required permissions include Storage for saving or loading document files. Optional permissions such as Photos and videos, Notifications, Music and audio, Phone, Microphone, and Camera enhance the app's functionality but are not necessary for basic use.
