Application Description:

Pesten With Cards, a classic Dutch card game literally translating to "Bullying with Cards," offers a thrilling card-shedding experience similar to international favorites like Mau-Mau, Crazy Eights, and Uno. The objective? Be the first to discard all your cards. A crucial element: declare "Last Card" before playing your final card; failure to do so results in a two-card penalty.

Played with one or more decks (including Jokers), each player receives seven cards, with the remainder forming a draw pile. Gameplay begins by revealing the top card of the draw pile. Players take turns (clockwise) playing cards matching either the number or suit of the top card. Jokers and Jacks are exceptions, playable on any card. Unable to play? Draw a card from the stock pile. If playable, you have the option to play it immediately.

Last Card Rule: When down to one card, press the "Last Card" button. Forgetting to declare "Last Card" before playing your winning card, or incorrectly declaring it, incurs a two-card penalty. The button can be pressed proactively, even before your turn. Note that special cards cannot be used as a winning card.

Special Cards and Actions: The game features configurable special card actions (reflecting regional variations). These actions are triggered when a special card is played:

Joker: The next player draws five cards. Subsequent Jokers add another five cards per Joker played.
Two: The next player draws two cards. Subsequent Twos add two more cards per Two played. (Optionally, a Joker can be played on a Two, adding five cards.) A Two cannot be played on a Joker.
Seven: The player must immediately play another card. The "Last Card" rule applies. Failure to play results in drawing a card.
Eight: The next player skips a turn. In two-player games, the current player takes another turn.
Ten: Each player passes a card to the player on their left.
